Facial hair is a very delicate issue with many women. Those who suffer from this condition feel very low and deserted. Everyone has body hair, but some have dark and thick hair on the face which is noticeable. Facial hair is usually found on the upper lip, jaw line, chin and sideburns. Some people even have hair on the cheeks which causes embarrassment. There are several ways of removing facial hair ranging from painless to painful methods.
The condition of growth of excess hair on the body is known as hirsutism. This condition is caused due to several reasons such as production of excess male hormones (testosterone) in the body or an increased level of androgens in the blood stream. Hirsutism is generally found to be hereditary or idiopathic, which means that there is no known reason for the condition to occur. Few more reasons might be irregularities of the endocrine system or faults in the metabolism of the body and polycystic ovarian disorder (PCOD).
Different methods of removing facial hair
Tweezers: Using tweezers serves the purpose when you have only a couple of hair on your face. Place the tweezers directly over every individual hair and pull it out gently. It is highly recommended to use sterilized and cleaned the tweezers to avoid any kind of skin contaminations.

Using it is very simple, begin by holding the handles of the tool and twist it gently in a U shape in an outward movement along the skin.
Threading: It is the most widely recognized and cheapest methods of removing facial hair. Similar to tweezing this method of hair removal can be used when you have a minimal amount of hair. However, this treatment is very expensive and might leave scars and change your skin tone.
Laser hair removal: In this method laser light is used to seep into the roots of the hair to destroy them permanently so that there is no re-growth of hair. This method is effective and does not leave any marks on your skin. However, it cannot be an affordable option for everyone.
