Lavender oil for foot odor
Lavender oil contains anti-fungal properties that are effective in treating foot odor.Lavender oil helps to kill bacteria and give our feet a nice fragrance. Take few drops of Lavender oil in warm water. Soak your feet in it for 30 minutes. Repeat this process as much as possible. It will help to rid of food odor.
Vinegar to prevent foot odor
Vinegar contains acid in it which kills bacteria. Hence vinegar is very beneficial for removal of bacteria and prevent foot odor. Take half cup vinegar and mix it with 8 cups of hot water. Soak feet in this mixture for 10-15 minute. Then wash your feet with soap. This is one of the best homemade remedy for foot odor.
Bleach to reduce foot odor
Bleach your socks to reduce the foot odor. Take two tablespoons of bleach to a gallon of warm water. Mix well and soak your feet in this solution. Leave it for about 5 – 10 minutes a day for a week. You can use baby oil when you find this soak is drying your skin. Use the same solution to the inside of your shoes. Soak them for 30 minutes and rinse them out with water. Always put some cloves in your footwear. This easy remedy will keep your feet fresh and out of the bad smell. Put cedar wood shavings into your shoes.
