Egg can be eaten by any age group people. This is marked as a perfect food that contains every nutrient which is needed for human being. Eating of egg is a great way to increase HDL (High density lipoprotein). Antioxidants, lutein and zeaxanthin in the egg help in giving great vision. It protects from heart diseases and may reduce the risk of stroke.

Egg biriyani

Egg biriyani is simply delicious. Preparing of this common dish is simple. I have chosen boiled eggs for preparing this rice stuffed egg biryani. Don’t get panic by looking at the ingredients list because the final output would be amazing. Like other biryani dishes it won’t take much time it is simple. It is complete once pot meak with a good source of proteins. Look at the recipe and start making egg biryani at home.

Egg biriyani ingredients

  • Rice – 1/2kg
  • Eggs – 6
  • Ginger – 25grms
  • Garlic – 25grms
  • Green chili – 6
  • Coriander seeds – 25grms
  • Poppy seeds – 25grms
  • Cinnamon – 5grms
  • Cloves – 5grms
  • Marathi Moggu – 5grms
  • Biriyani leaves / baby leafs – 5grms
  • Mint leaves – 1cup
  • Coriander – 1 cup
  • Turmeric – 1tbsp
  • Fresh coconut Milk – 2cups
  • Ghee – 150grms
  • Salt (required)
  • Cashew nuts – 25grms
  • Elachi – 5grms

Step 1: Boil the eggs and take off the peel. Keep a side.

Step 2: Take a fork and start making holes to the eggs. Don’t give a strong bite.

Step 3: Take ginger, garlic, poppy seeds, green chili and coriander seeds in a jar.

Step 4: Grind it to a fine paste.

Step 5: Add pinch of turmeric, salt. Mix well the paste.

Step 6: Take half of the paste and add eggs to the paste and mix completely so that the egg absorbs the flavors of the paste.

Step 7: Take a pan on stove. Light it to a low flame.

Step 8: Put 75grms of ghee in pan. Add the eggs which we mixed before with paste, into the ghee.

Step 9: Fry the eggs till it become golden brown in color. Keep them aside by taking them into a bowl.

Step 10: Take other vessel on stove and add remaining ghee. Let it heat in low flame.

Step 11: Add cloves, cinnamon, elachi, cashew nuts, Marathi moggu and biriyani leaves.

Step 12: Fry them till you get nice smell of the ingredients.

Step 13: Now add remaining half masala paste which we made before.

Step 14: Fry them nicely till dry smell goes.

Step 15: Add coconut milk and 1 liter water to it. Put coriander leaves, mint leaves and salt to this liquid.

Step 16: Let these boil. While boiling add rice to the liquid.

Step 17: Cook the rice to 3/4th and now add fried eggs to this rice.

Step 18: Mix them well. Cover it with lid.

Step 19: Let it cook in simmer for 10 mins.

Tasty and healthy fried egg biriyani is ready to eat now.

Egg Drumstick curry

Egg drumstick curry is one of the best combination curries that I most like to eat. There are lots of egg varieties but mixing the drumstick with egg gives an awesome taste. Excellent spicy gravy can be eaten along with white rice. Why can’t you try this dish on Sundays? Check out the ingredients and start cooking this special drumstick egg curry. This dish is specially prepared in Andhra.

Egg Drumstick curry ingredients

  • Drumsticks – 2
  • Eggs – 4
  • Onions – 4
  • Green chili – 4
  • Tamarind – 25grms
  • Oil – 50grms
  • Garlic cloves – 10
  • Red chili – 2
  • Red chili powder – 2bsp
  • Pop seeds – 1tbsp
  • Coriander leaves – ½ cup
  • Fenugreek seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Turmeric – 1 pinch
  • Salt (required)

Step 1: Soak the tamarind in water for 10mins.

Step 2: Chop the onions and green chilies nicely.

Step 3: Boil the eggs and remove the peel. Keep a side.

Step 4: Take thick bottomed vessel on stove. Heat it in low flame. Add oil to it.

Step 5: After oil getting heat add pop seeds, red chilli, garlic cloves and fenugreek seeds.

Step 6: Fry them nicely. Now add eggs to this. Fry them also.

Step 7: Add chopped onions and green chillies to the eggs.

Step 8: Fry them all for 10 mins and now add drumsticks.

Step 9: Let them cook by stirring slowly. Add pinch of turmeric, salt and red chili powder to the pieces.

Step 10: Mix them well for 5 minutes.

Step 11: Now pour the tamarind juice to this mixture.

Step 12: Mix well and cover the vessel with lid. Allow it to cook for 10 minutes.

Step 13: Check the drumstick whether it is cooked.

Step 14: Garnish the dish with coriander leaves and turn off the flame.

Note: If you like you can add tomato.

Egg prawns Gravy

Egg prawns gravy is the best eaten as a side dish for white rice, pulka and chapathi. Making of egg prawns gravy is easy. There is lot of methods used in preparing but my style of cooking egg prawns gravy is described by my mom. Given ingredients list is perfect to get the flavor of egg prawns gravy. Some use the same procedure for making chicken prawn curry but I have used Egg as a main ingredient and prepared this dish. Follow the steps and taste the flavor of the egg prawn gravy.

Egg prawns Gravy ingredients

  • Eggs – 4
  • Onions – ¼ kg
  • Prawns (or) shrimp – ½ kg
  • Oil – 50grms
  • Green chili – 4
  • Red chili powder – 2tbsp
  • Ginger – smallpiece
  • Coriander leaves – ½ cup
  • Salt (required)
  • Garlic cloves – 10

Step 1: Boil the eggs and remove the peel to it. Keep a side.

Step 2: Chop the garlic, onions, green chilies and ginger into fine pieces.

Step 3: Grind the garlic and ginger into fine paste. Keep a side.

Step 4: Take a pan on stove, add oil to it and heat in a low flame.

Step 5: Add prawns to the oil and fry it. Later add eggs also to the prawns and fry them nicely.

Step 6:  After 5 minutes add chopped onions and green chili to it.

Step 7: Mix them well and cover the vessel with lid.

Step 8: Let it cook for 10 minutes. Open the lid.

Step 9: Add salt, turmeric, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste and ½ tea glass of water to it.

Step 10: Let the water gets sink completely. Add coriander leaves and turn off the flame.

Egg prawns curry is ready to eat now.

Egg potato fry

Egg potato Fry

Do you know how to prepare egg fry? The same method I have used in making of egg potato fry. It is easy to prepare. It took 15minutes for me to complete cooking. This can be eaten as a side dish in sambar and rasam. Enjoy preparing egg potato fry with our cool recipe.

Egg potato fry ingredients

  • Eggs – 4
  • Potatoes – 250grms
  • Red chili powder – 2tbsp
  • Salt (required)
  • Oil – 25grms

Step 1: Wash the potatoes with water.

Step 2: Take a peeler and peel off the skin of potatoes.

Step 3: Chop the potatoes into fine pieces.

Step 4: Take a pan add oil to it and keep on stove with low flame. Heat the oil.

Step 5: Fry the chopped potatoes in oil.

Step 6: Meanwhile take other bowl and broke the eggs into it.

Step 7: Beat the obtained liquid nicely.

Step 8: Add this liquid into the fried potatoes. Let it fry.

Step 9: Stir the mix so that the potato pieces do not collide each other.

Step 10: Fry it till the egg potato mix becomes golden brown in color.

Step 11: Add red chili powder and salt to it.

Tasty egg potato curry is ready to eat now.

Note: You can use ladies fingers and prawns instead of potatoes.

Serve it with hot rice.
