Headaches are extremely common due to work stress, family demands, and skimpy sleep. Headaches can be classified into three main categories like tension, migraine, cluster headaches. There are many causes such as physiological changes, constriction of blood vessels, abnormal neuronal activity, genetic causes, dehydration, oversleeping, eye strain, and neck strain.
Tension headaches are the most common type of headaches. Migraine attacks with symptoms like nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to lights and sounds. The cluster is that occur for weeks to months at a time by periods of remission.
Home remedies for headaches
Take some roasted caraway seeds that are dry. Then tie them in a soft handkerchief or a clean cloth. Sniff it hardly to get a relief from headaches.
Take a fresh apple and chop it into pieces. Sprinkle some salt on the pieces and eat them in the morning for at least a week. It helps to cure chronic headaches.
Ginger has anti-inflammatory property that can be used to treat headaches. Add tea leaves and ginger to 1 cup of boiling water. Stir them well and drain out water from it. Allow it to cool and drink a bit to get relief from headache.
