Ivy gourd is a vegetable with good medicinal values. Ivy gourd is recommended for the diabetes patients. Ivy gourd is good for skin too. Ivy gourd, peanut fry curry is easy to prepare in simple manner.
- Chopped onions- ½ cup
- Ivy gourd- 10 long halves
- Roasted peanuts- ¼ cup
- Jeera-1/4 spoon
- Sesame seeds-1/4 spoon
- Red chili powder- 1 spoon
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves- 1 spring
- Chopped green chili- ¼ spoon
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Oil to fry
Step 1: Grind the roasted peanuts, sesame nuts, jeera into semi powder using mixer.
Step 2: Take a pan and heat the oil.
Step 3: Add chopped onions, green chilies, curry leaves and fry them.
Step 4: Add turmeric powder, garlic cloves to it.
Step 5: Add salt to taste, red chili powder and leave it for 3 min.
Step 6: Now add ivy gourd to the fried mix.
Step 7: Fry the ivy gourd till it absorbs oil.
Step 8: After that, add roasted powder of peanut, sesame and jeera to the curry.
Step 9: Off the flame and serve the recipe
