How to make apple halwa

Apple is small and deciduous tree originated in central Asia. Apple is a fiber fruit. Apple has more health benefits. Now let us see how to make apple halwa.


  • Apples-6
  • Sugar – 2 cups
  • Ghee ¼ cup
  • Cardamom powder-1 spoon
  • Milk – ½ cup
  • Almonds, cashew nuts chopped-1/4 cup
  • Dry grapes- 3 spoons


Step 1: Take all the apples and peel them off and grate them.

Step 2: Heat the pan. Pour ghee into pan and heat it.

Step 3: Reduce the flame, add grated apple to hot ghee. Mix them well. Leave it for 15-20 min.

Step 4: Let the water out of it. Pour milk in pan. Leave it for 10 min.

Step 5: Mix them well till it turn to thick paste.

Step 6: Take a small pan. Add ghee to it. Fry the almonds, cashew and dry grape till it turn to brown color.

Step 7: Add fried nuts to the apple mix.

Step 8: Add cardamom powder at last before turning of the flame.

Serve hot apple halwa with cardamom flavor.
