The term badam means “Almond”. It is the best beverage commonly popular in summer. Badam milk consists of rich vitamins. Making of badam milk is easy you can prepare at home. Usually some kids won’t drink the milk at that time this badam milk will attract the kids with different colours and more tasty. Badam milk is the best refreshing drink for everyone. Let’s see how to prepare this healthy badam milk.
How to make badam milk / almond milk
- Almonds = 12
- Milk = 1 litre
- Saffron = 1 pinch
- Cardamom powder ¼ tbsp.
- Sugar = ½ cup
Making of Badam milk
Step 1: Take the almonds in a small cup of warm water and soak them for 2-3 hours.
Step 2: Same way soak the saffron in 2tbsp of cold milk.
Step 3: After soaking the almonds grind them with a ½ cup of milk till to a smooth paste.
Step 4: Test the grinded item with the finger tips the paste should be fine and smooth.
Step 5: Take a pan and place this badam paste into it. Allow to heat until it gets to bubble.
Step 6: Add the remaining milk to it and boil in a simmer.
Step 7: Let it boil for 10 min till the raw smell leaves.
Step 8: Add the sugar according to your taste.
Step 9: After 5 min add the cardamom and soaked saffron to it.
Step 10: You can add more milk to it if you feel that the milk is too thick.
Step 11: Stir the whole mixture frequently and boil.
Step 12: Now switch off it from stove and serve it in a glass.
You can best take it with hot or you can freeze the milk in a freezer and take it chilled.
