Besan laddoo is one of the beautiful Indian sweet. It is best made in festival seasons. It is in ball shape and most popular in the Indian regions. Making of laddu at home is really simple and easy. Follow the recipe and enjoy the festival days with the nice besan laddoos.
How to make besan laddoo (we can make 70 laddoos with the below recipe)
- Sugar = ½ kg
- besan (Gram flour) = ½ kilo
- Ghee = ½ kilo
- Raisins = 150grms
- Cashews = 150 grms
- Cardamom powder = 3tbsp
- Cinnamon powder = 1 stick
Making of besan laddu
Step 1: Take a pan and add besan(gram flour) to it. Roast the besan in a small flame for 10mins.
Step 2: Stir continuously the besan till it changed to golden brown.
Step 3: Melt the ghee in another vessel and keep it on a side.
Step 4: Take the melted ghee and add to the roasting besan and stir it for 5 minutes.
Step 5: The besan starts giving the strong fragrance and it lets out the ghee.
Step 6: Now switch off the flame and remove the pan from stove.
Step 7: Add the sugar to that mixture. The quantity of sugar depends individually so add on your taste.
Step 8: Then add the cardamom powder and raisins to it. You can also add some dry fruits.
Step 9: There should not be any lumps so stir it properly.
Step 10: After mixing the besan ladoo mixture let it cool down for some time and start making the small sized balls.
Now the besan laddu is ready to eat. Enjoy the tasty laddus.
