How to make choco-lava at home

Choco lava is famous recipe prepared in restaurants. It is dark, chocolaty dessert made with dark chocolate. Choco lava is small size cake with roasted almonds as toppings.   • Chopped dark chocolate- 1cup
  • Self-rising flour- ½ cup
  • Castor sugar- 2cups
  • Eggs-2
  • Unsalted butter- 1cup
  • Chopped almonds- ½ cup


Step 1: Heat dark chocolate and butter in oven at high temperature.

Step 2: Take a bowl, add eggs and sugar mix them using beater.

Step 3: Add this egg mixture to chocolate mixture.

Step 4: Add self-rising flour and stir it well evenly.

Step 5: Preheat oven at 350 degrees.

Step 6: Take ramekins and apply butter to it at all edges.

Step 7: Fill ramekins with chocolate mixture and bake for 10-15min in oven.

Step 8: When the chocolate cake gets baked remove ramekins and keep cake aside to reduce the temperature.

Step 9: Serve cake on plate and garnish with chopped almonds.

Step 10: Sprinkle some sugar over cake.
