How to make crispy banana chips at home

Banana is the largest flowering plant grows from a structure usually called a corm. The fruit is described as leathery layer with protective layer. Banana is naturally radioactive. The food is very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. Banana is good source for dietary fiber.Banana chips are popular snack and very easy to make at home. Homemade banana chips are perfect for healthy food.


  • Oil
  • ¼ table spoon turmeric powder.
  • Salt according to taste
  • 4-5 raw bananas


Step 1: Take off the protected layer of banana and put in plenty of salted iced water.

Step 2: Cut the banana into slices with chip slicer. Mix the turmeric powder.

Step 3: Store them in water for 10 min. remove out of water fully.

Step 4: Spread the bananas on the cotton cloth to take off the moisture.

Step 5: Heat the oil .Fry the banana slices one of the other till they become crispy.

Step 6: Lift the chips out with spoon. Place the dried bananas on the tissues.

Step 7: Sprinkle the salt before serving.

Hot Hot banana chips are ready to eat!!!
