Mysore pak is popular dessert in south India. It has very delicious taste. Ghee adds more flavour and taste to the sweet. It is simple and easy to prepare at home. Let us see how to make mysore pak.
- Besan gram flour- 2cups
- Ghee- 2cups
- Sugar- 3cups
- Water as required
Step 1: Take a long bottomed vessel, add sugar and water and mix it well
Step 2: At low flame heat it till it turns into thick syrup.
Step 3: keep aside till the temperature reduces.
Step 4: Make besan gram into a fine powder, add little amount of ghee to it and mix it well.
Step 5: Now add besan flour to sugar syrup slowly without any lumps.
Step 6: Heat ghee in a bowl and add slowly to the sugar syrup mix.
Step 7: Add hot ghee on flour and stir it well till it becomes thick and ghee separates.
Step 8: Apply ghee on plate and pour flour on it and keep aside for 10min.
Step 9: Later cut sweet into small pieces and serve in a plate.
