How to make spinach and mushroom samosa

Spinach and mushroom samosa is tasty and crispy snack. It is spicy snack easy to prepare at home. Now let us see how to make spinach and mushroom samosa.


  • Chopped spinach- ½ cup
  • Chopped mushroom- ½ cup
  • Chopped onion- ½ cup
  • Chopped garlic- ½ spoon
  • Pie nuts- 2 spoons
  • Grated cheese- 2 spoons
  • Butter – 2 spoons
  • Chilli powder- 1 spoon
  • Pepper powder- ½ spoon
  • Plain flour- ¾ cup
  • Olive oil- 3 spoons
  • Lemon juice – 1 spoon
  • Amchur powder- ½ spoon
  • Salt to taste


For spinach and mushroom stuff:

Step 1: Heat olive oil in a pan, fry onions, garlic pods till they turn into brown colour.

Step 2: Add mush rooms, required salt, chilli powder and pepper powder and mix it well.

Step 3: Cook it for 5min.

Step 4: Later add spinach, pie nuts and mix it well.

Step 5: Add grated cheese, amchur powder and lemon juice, mix it well and cook for 5min.

Step 6: Off the flame and keep aside.

For dough:

Step 7: Take plain flour in a bowl, add salt and make into thick dough by adding some water.

Step 8: Add some butter to dough for softness.

Step 9: Make dough into small balls and press it evenly on all sides.

Step 10: Place the spinach and mushroom stuff in dough, press the edges in triangle shape.

Step 11: Heat oil in kadai and fry them till it turn to brown colour.

Step 12: Serve the spinach and mushroom samosa in a plate.
