How to cook the paneer and cheese cigars rolls

A Paneer cheese cigar roll is crispy snack item prepared easily in short period of time. Let us see how to make paneer and cheese cigar roll at home.


  • 1 cup of grated paneer(cheese) cubes
  • 2 cups of wheat flour
  • 3 spoons of ghee
  • Finely chopped onions- ½ cup
  • Finely chopped green chilies – 1 spoon
  • Finely chopped tomatoes- ½ cup
  • Chopped coriander – 2 spoons
  • Peeled and chopped ginger- ½ spoon
  • Garlic cloves-2
  • Crumbled mozzarella- ¼ cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Refined oil to fry


To make a roll

Step 1: Take wheat flour of 2 cups in a bowl. Mix it with water.

Step 2: mix it well till it turns into smooth and thick dough.

Step 3: keep aside for 15 min.

For stuff in roll:

Step 1: Take a pan. Pour oil into it. Heat it well.

Step 2: Add the ingredients such as chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, chopped green chilies, ginger, garlic and fry them.

Step 3:  After getting brown color. Off the flame and add chopped coriander, mozzarella.

Step 4: Divide the stuff into small quantities.

Step 5: Place the stuff in roll along with paneer (cheese) cubes inside.

Step 6: Roll it twice till the stuff gets fit inside.

Step 7: Repeat the same process for remaining flour and stuff.

Step 8: Take a pan and heat oil till it gets smoke.

Step 9: Fry the rolls in heat oil till it gets brown color.
