Gobi Manchuria is a popular snack item easy to prepare at home. Gobi is also known as cauliflower. Gobi contains rich fibre vegetable with lot of nutritional values. It also contains vitamins, carbohydrates that are good for health. Let us learn how to prepare gobi manchuria at home.
For gobi Manchuria:
- Cauliflower / gobi – cut into small flower shaped pieces.
- Maida flour / plain flour – ½ cup
- Corn flour- ¼ cup
- Red chilli powder- ½ spoon
- Salt – pinch
- Water – cup
- Oil to fry
- Onion slices- ½ cup
- Tomato slices- ½ cup
- Green chillies- 4 long halves
- Vinegar- 1 spoon
- Soya sauce- 1 spoon
- Pepper powder- ½ spoon
- Capsicum- ¼ cup
- Chopped coriander- 2 spoons
- Spring onions- 1 spoon
Step 1: Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients (maida flour, corn flour, red chilli powder, salt) mix them well in thick paste by adding water.
Step 2: Heat oil in kadai. Coat gobi with batter and drop in oil.
Step 3: Fry gobi till it turn into brown colour.
Step 4: Repeat the process for all gobi and batter.
To prepare sauce:
Step 5: Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
Step 6: Fry onions, capsicum till it get brown shade.
Step 7: Add tomato and chillies leave it for 2min.
Step 8: Off the flame and add vinegar, soya sauce and pepper powder.
Step 9: Stir it well and add fried gobi Manchuria to sauce.
Step 10: Stir it well and serve in a plate.
