Tips for getting rid of skin rashes

Skin is the very sensitive part in the body. A small change caused by food, allergens, chemicals, cosmetics, insects, pests, stress, drugs, dust, and pollution may lead to an uncomfortness on the skin. The rash is an inflammation of the skin that cause illness, irritation, redness, itching. Most of them are curable and contagious. Some of them are transmittable easily. Here we are discussing the tips to control the rashes over the skin.

Aloe vera

Aloe vera gel is the best homemade tip used in case of rash. As it contains the vitamin C, E, & anti inflammatory properties are apart from antibacterial & fungal properties. Apply this juice on the affected area.

Chamomile oil

Oil helps in the synthesis of new white blood cells by destroying the dead cells. There by this gives protection from harmful organisms. The herb is boiled and squeezes the oil. This oil is added to some water and applied onto the affected area. It slows down the irritation.

Oatmeal

This gives a good relief from inflammation and rash. Apply its oil onto the affected area. Having a bath of oatmeal is the best therapy for itching rashes. A warm oatmeal bath is best in case of serious rash.

Olive oil

This is the most preferable remedy used during rashes. The therapeutic property contained in it gives a relief from irritation.

Baking soda

Applying the baking soda onto the affected area gives relief from irritation, itching, and inflammation caused by a rash. The warm baking soda bath is best in case of serious rash.

Ice cubes

Inflammation caused by the rash can be treated by the ice cubes. Place the ice cubes on the affected area for some time for a great relief. If the rash persists for long time consult a doctor.

Cold compress

Soak a white, clean cloth in the cool water and drain out the excess water in it. This is used for cold compress for about 30 minutes. The cold compress on the affected area relieves from irritation and prevents the development of serious rashes. This soothes the skin from getting the condition too worse.

Clothing

Wear the clothes that are spurring free because these spur causes itching in some sensitive skin areas. Wear the clothes that are light and made of cotton than the   heavy/thick material. This allows free air into the body and thereby the affected area will not be worsened by these heavy/tight clothes.

Avoid exposure to allergens

Avoid exposing to allergens like dust from an air conditioned room, pet animals, carpets, perfumes, pollution, furniture. Avoid using artificial creams because they may also contain some of allergens that cause rashes. So check out its expiry while using them.

Usage of gloves and protective clothes

Wear gloves, socks, hat, sunscreen lotion, protective clothes while roaming out because the dust present may cause rashes sometimes.

Moisturize yourself

Use the moisturizing creams, lotions, ointments after having the bath/ shower/swimming. This protects the skin from draining and avoids developing any rashes.

Eat fish twice a week

Fish contains omega 3 fatty acids that help to reduce the skin diseases. At least try to eat fish oil supplements if you cannot go with fish directly.

Neem leaves

Neem leaves paste is prepared and applied directly to the affected areas. This gives better relief from inflammation and irritation caused by a rash.

Banana peel

Banana peel reduces the anti inflammatory action. Applying the peel on the affected areas gives relief from serious rashes. Once, prepared peel can be reused for skin about 3 times.

Tulsi leaves

As we know basil leaves are easily available in every home holds a great medicinal value. This paste is prepared and applied on the affected areas. This relieves from inflammation. This is used more effectively in healing many skin diseases. Apply the paste of a mixture containing basil leaves, olive oil, garlic, cloves; pepper onto the rash. This cures the rash.

Cod liver oil and vitamin E

This oil cures the rash very effectively. Applying twice in a day gives more relief. Having the fish in the diet is very much essential in treating many skin diseases also.
