Baking soda and water for skin rash

Oatmeal to treat skin rash

Take a cup of oatmeal and cook them well. Smash it into a fine paste and let it cool. Apply this paste on your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash it off with cold water.

Basil, olive oil and fresh garlic to prevent skin problems

Take ¼ cup whole basil leaves with 6 tablespoons of olive oil and one whole garlic clove in a food processor. Blend them and puree it to form a thick paste. Massage the mixture onto clean skin with your fingertips. Leave it for about 30 minutes. Rinse your skin with lukewarm water. Repeat it twice per day and you can refrigerate it for about 48 hours.

Primrose oil to moisturize skin

Take some primrose oil and apply it on your face. Leave it for about 20 minutes and then wash it off. It is highly beneficial and naturally cures for face rashes. Repeat this therapy about thrice a week.

Papaya juice for glowing skin

Take one piece of ripe papaya and prepare juice with it. Blend juice from cucumber and tomato. Mix them well and apply it on your face where the rashes appear. Leave it till dry. Then wash it off with cold water.

Comfrey essential oil and jojoba oil for skin care

Take 1 teaspoon of comfrey essential oil with 10 teaspoon of jojoba oil in a small dark bottle and shake them well to combine the ingredients. Mix a small amount of mixture onto a clean cotton pad and rub it gently on the skin. Leave it for about 20 – 25 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Repeat it daily.

Sandalwood to get smooth face

Take 2 tablespoons of sandalwood powder and mix it with rose water. Apply this paste on your face and leave it for some time. Then wash it off with water.

Dandelion flowers for face

Take a cup of dandelion flowers and add them in two cups of boiling water. Strain the solution after an hour apply this solution on our face. Leave it for about 30 minutes. Repeat it twice in a week.

Aloe vera gel and turmeric powder

A mixture of aloe vera gel and turmeric powder is used to clear up rashes on the skin and face. Combine 2 tablespoon of aloe vera gel with ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder in a small container. Stir them well to combine. Massage a thick layer of the mixture on the skin before bed and leave it in overnight. Rinse your skin with cool water. Repeat it daily.

Chamomile leaves to get rid of skin rash

Take some chamomile leaves that can also be steeped in boiling water. Leave it for about 5 minutes and then strain the solution. Cool the face rash and apply it on your face. Leave it for some time till it dry and then wash off with cold water.

Nutmeg and raw milk for skin scars

Applying this salt also reduces the swelling and itching of the scaly skin. Having a bath with this solution gives a better relief.

Olive oil

Mixing this oil in the bath water along with the milk will relieve you from scaly and soaring psoriasis. Mineral oil also used for sharing and itching skin. Having a bath with this oil gives soothing effect. Gentle massage of warm olive oil onto the scaly scalp softens the skin and gives much relief. Having the regular shampoo later helps to wash out the oil. A gentle massage with the vegetable oils reduces the stress and pain caused by psoriasis. Yoga

Cold water wash: Washing your face with cold water daily more than twice.

Vitamin E: Apply vitamin E oil around your eyes to get rid of dark circles.

Tea bag: Apply cooled tea bags over closed eyes. Don’t use herbal tea bags, because most are not as effective as the black tea bags.

Chilled cotton balls: Keep cotton balls in chilled water and keep for 5-10 minutes with your eyes.

Tomato pulp, turmeric, lime juice and gram flour: Mix 1 tablespoon of tomato pulp, pinch of turmeric, ½ tsp of lime juice and 1 tsp of gram flour till it becomes a paste. Apply gently on eyelids and darkened areas. Leave it on for half an hour. Remove gently with moist cotton pads.

Almond oil and lime juice: Keep hot and cold compress under your eyes for 10 minutes. Then apply a teaspoon of almond oil mixed with half teaspoon of lime juice on the dark surface every night before going to bed.

Honey and almond oil: Mix 1 teaspoon of honey with ½ teaspoon of almond oil. Apply it on at bedtime. In the morning wash your face as usual and pat dry. You will see good results over a period of time.

Almond and milk: Soak 5 almonds overnight. Next day, first thing in the morning, peel, almonds and eat them by chewing well. Follow with a glass of milk.

Chilled spoon: You need to place a rounded spoon in the fridge for a few minutes. Once cold, pull it out and hold it against the puffy portion.

Cucumber/ Potato pulp with basil tea: Slice a small raw potato or cucumber and blend to fine consistency. Strain juice and preserve pulp. Prepare a cup of basil tea and add the pulp to it. Pour the mixture into ice trays and make it into cubes. Dab them onto puffy eyes. Rinse and then pat dry.

Home remedies for cold

Garlic

Garlic is good for the immune system and helps to open up respiratory passages. Antibacterial and antiviral properties present in garlic help to get rid of cold.

Mix together one crushed garlic clove to 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon honey and half a teaspoon cayenne pepper or red chilli powder. Consume it daily.

Saute a few garlic cloves in ghee and consume when they are warm. It may sound like a bitter concoction, but it can help you fight the common cold and cough.

Boil 4-5 chopped garlic cloves in a cup of water and add one teaspoon of honey. Drink it 2-3 times a day.

Honey

Honey is a powerful soothing and healing agent. Honey is an excellent cold medicine because of its antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial nutrients. Consume a mixture of 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and 2 teaspoons of honey. Take it every 2 hours to get immense relief from your cold and sore throat.

Spice tea

Add tulsi, ginger and black pepper while preparing your tea to get rid of common cold.

Dry roast and grind a quarter cup of coriander seeds, one a half tablespoons each of cumin and fennel seeds and quarter teaspoon of fenugreek seeds. Boil a cup of water and add one and a half tablespoon of this spice powder and one a half teaspoon of rock candy. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes. Then add 2 tablespoons of milk boil it and strain. Sip it while it is hot; drink it daily until the symptoms subside.

Ginger

Ginger has antiviral, expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties in treating common cold. Cut ginger into slices and add salt to it. Chew on these ginger slices to fight cold, cough and a sore throat. Take it 2 times a day.

Eat raw ginger or drink ginger tea several times a day. You can also mix equal amounts of dry ginger powder, ghee and jaggery. Consume this mixture daily on an empty stomach.

Chicken soup

Chicken soup might help to relieve from cold and flu symptoms as an anti-inflammatory by inhibiting the movement of neutrophils and relieve congestion.

Red onion

Take 2-3 red onion horizontal slices. Put one slice onion in a bowl and add raw honey until the bowl is full. Cover it and leave it for 12-15 hours. When you open the bowl, there will be thick liquid like syrup. Drink a spoonful of the syrup several times a day to get relief from cold.

Pepper

The capsaicin’s present in pepper helps to thin the mucus. Boil water with black pepper; add cumin and jaggery to it. Drink it you will get relied from chest.

Put pepper on your food when you eat a meal. You can also gargle with a teaspoon of black pepper mixed in a glass of warm water.

Milk

Take warm milk and adding turmeric is an effective way to fight a cough. This combination gives healthy ingredients needed for healthy living.

Cinnamon

Prepare syrup of lemon and cinnamon to prevent a common cold. Put some honey in a pan, fill it to half and use a double boiler until it is thin. Then add a pinch of cinnamon and add lemon. Have this syrup to fight a cold.

Turmeric powder, milk, black pepper powder

Take 1 glass warm milk, 1 teaspoon of turmeric and 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder. Mix all the ingredients and drink twice a day.

Carom seeds

Take 1 tablespoon of carom seeds and make it into a fine powder to be placed in a clean cloth has to be tied in the form of a bundle. Held close to the nose and inhaled.
