High chemical shampoos are not to be used for the defects they cause, because of hair damage, rough hair, split ends etc.

Homemade shampoo naturally works better than highly chemical shampoos. You have to choose for toxic free ways to care for your hair. Using conditioner or another replacement such as baking soda in place of shampoo will cleanse the hair just as effectively without stripping it of moisture. Cleansing hair without a shampoo can give straight hair back its natural fullness and body that may be even a wavy texture is being shampooed out.

Shampoo is a detergent

Shampoo cleans your hair as well as strips it of all the healthy oil for your body naturally. It protects your hair and keeps them soft and strong. Shampoo was introduced in the early 20th century, before that people use soap, which helps to wash your hair without removing important oils. But soap’s doesn’t work in alkaline water. The soap becomes a challenge for mineral heavy water. Thus, it made the scales on hair stand up, which makes them weaker and rougher. Whereas shampoo works better for both hard and soft water. Tips for natural homemade shampoos

Baking soda: Baking soda works better on hair as its other many household helps. It is weaker alkaline and it very gently clarifies hair from chemical buildup. It can be tweaked to suit your needs. Take one tablespoon of baking soda and mix it with one cup of water. Pour this mixture into a bottle and shake it to dissolve the baking soda. First soak your hair and squeeze a bit of the baking soda mixture on your scalp. Squeeze a bit more here and there that concentrating mostly on the scalp. Oil originates from the scalp itself. The hair is naturally getting cleaned once the scalp is clarified.

Apple cider vinegar

It is a mild acidic, but works well to counteract the baking soda, thus it acts as a great replacement for conditioner. The hair follicles, seals the cuticle, and balances the hair’s pH balance. Take one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it with one cup water. Take an old conditioner bottle and fill it with the vinegar and water. Then finish it with a shake. Pour this solution on your hair and leave for a few seconds. Then rinse it out.

Lemon juice

Take one lemon and squeeze out juice from it. Take equal amount of your normal conditioner. Apply it on your hair and comb through. Rinse it off as soon as possible.
