Aloo ginger green chili fry
- Potatoes – 5
- Ginger – 1 medium piece
- Green chilies – 10
- Salt (required)
- Oil – 5tbsp
- Turmeric – ½ tbsp
- Coriander leaves
- Tempering seeds – 1tbsp
- Onions – 2
How to Make
Step 1: Wash the potatoes and add them into pressure cooker.
Step 2: Pour 1 big glass of water into the cooker.
Step 3: Cover the lid of pressure cooker and keep it on stove. Give a medium flame and cook till it gives 5 whistles.
Step 4: Turn off the flame and allow the pressure goes out from cooker.
Step 5: Now open the lid and collect the cooked potatoes into separate plate.
Step 6: Start removing the peel of potatoes. And cut the potatoes into medium size pieces. Keep them a side.
Step 7: Peel off the onions and chop them. Keep this a side.
Step 8: Take ginger pieces and green chilies in jar.
Step 9: Grind it into a fine paste. Keep this a side.
Step 10: Take a pan on stove give a medium flame. Add oil to it.
Step 11: After oil getting hot add tempering seeds. Fry them till they become golden yellow in shade.
Step 12: Now add chopped onion pieces to the oil. Fry them for 2 mins.
Step 13: Add potato or aloo pieces to the onions.
Step 14: Mix them all and fry it till the potatoes become gold in color.
Step 15: Add turmeric and salt. Mix it well. Fry it for 2 mins.
Step 16: Now add ginger and green chilies paste to the potatoes.
Step 17: Mix it well. Turn off the flame and take it to a serving bowl.
Step 18: Garnish with coriander leaves.
Spicy potato garlic green chili curry is ready to eat.
