Hemorrhoids are enlarged and swollen blood vessels that are located in the lower part of the rectum and anus. Thus, the blood vessels become swollen due to increased pressure within them.

There are two types of hemorrhoids. Lemon juice to prevent hemorrhoids

Lemon is rich in nutrients and helps to get relief from hemorrhoids. This can strengthen the capillaries and blood vessel walls. Take some freshly squeezed lemon juice and dip a cotton swab in it. Apply this on the hemorrhoid. You may feel a mild tingling or burning sensation. This helps to relieve from pain. Another way is to take freshly squeezed half a lemon and add it in a cup of hot milk. Mix it well and drink it. Repeat the process three hours for best results. Mix one half teaspoon of lemon juice, ginger juice, mint juice and add a bit amount of honey to the mixture. Apple cider vinegar to treat piles

Apple cider vinegar is the most natural home treatment for hemorrhoids. It is rich in astringent properties and helps to shrink swollen blood vessels. This gives instant relief from swelling and irritation of both internal and external hemorrhoids. Make sure to use unfiltered and unpasteurized vinegar for faster results. Soak a cotton swab or toilet paper in apple cider vinegar and apply it over the hemorrhoid area. This process helps to get rid of sore piles. Repeat the process until the inflammation disappears and can resolve the problem. This also improves your health instantly. You can also add half a cup of apple cider vinegar into a sitz bath. Hemorrhoids can be prevented by keeping the stools soft, daily exercises, including high fiber diet, drink plenty of fluids and avoid straining with bowel movements.

  • Avoid sitting for long periods of time, mostly on the toilets.
  • Avoid laxatives for more than occasional used then for bulk forming
  • Avoid low fiber foods like ice cream, cheese, white bread and meat
  • Include fiber rich foods such as fresh fruit, leafy vegetables, cereals and whole grain breads which are a good source of fiber.
