Bitter gourd is the famous vegetable in Asian countries. It is used to treat the diabetes. The name bitter gourd is derived from its taste because it is the trademark for bitterness. Most people won’t like the vegetable because of its bitter taste but the health benefit lies in this bitter taste only. Eating of bitter gourd fry is mostly liked to people. So let’s see how to prepare the bitter gourd fry.
Method of preparation
- Rice flour = 5tbsp
- Bitter gourd = 4
- Red chilli powder = 1/4tbps
- Garam masala = 1/4tbsp
- Pepper powder
Step 1: Wash the bitter gourd and cut them into slices.
Step 2: Remove the seeds while cutting into pieces.
Step 3: Take the pieces in the bowl and add salt to it.
Step 4: Rub the pieces with salt and keep it aside for an hour.
Step 5: Water generates while rubbing the bitter gourd. Remove them.
Step 6: Now add the rice flour, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, salt (little), and Pepper powder. Mix well for 10 minutes.
Step 7: Take a oil in a bottomed pan and heat it.
Step 8: Put the bitter gourd in the hot oil slowly in a spreading manner.
Step 9: Fry them till they becomes golden brown.
Step 10: Take them to a plate consisting of tissue paper. Excess oil will be absorbed by the tissue.
