How to make masala doodh recipe

Masala doodh is a popular drink with delicious taste. It contains dry fruits as toppings. It can be served as chilled as well as hot too. It is easy to prepare at home. Let us see how to make this drink..


  • Milk – ½ litre
  • Almonds, pistachio chopped- ¼ cup
  • Cashew nuts chopped- 2 spoons
  • Raisins- 2 spoons
  • Sugar- 1cup
  • Kesar- pinch
  • cloves and cinamon powder- 1/2 spoon
  • Nutmeg powder- pinch
  • Cardamom powder- ½ spoon


Step 1: Take a vessel and boil milk at low flame for 15-20min.

Step 2: Stir it well continuously till the milk reduces to half and gets thicken.

Step 3: Later add sugar to the milk and stir it well till it dissolves.

Step 4: Sprinkle nutmeg powder, cloves and cinnamon powder and stir it well.

Step 5: Sprinkle cardamom powder and kesar and heat it for 2min and off the flame.

Step 6: Heat ghee and fry cashew nuts, almonds, pistachio and raisins for 2min.

Step 7: Add them as toppings to the milk and store in refrigerator for 15min till it becomes cool.

Step 8: Serve masala doodh to drink
