How to make mixed bell peppers raita / capsicum raita

Mixed bell peppers are the different colors of capsicums like red, yellow and green. These are used to prepare raita with spicy flavour. Ingredients which are used to prepare raita are good for health. It contains carbohydrates, fibre and calorie. It is easy and simple to prepare at home. Let us see how to make this recipe at home


  • Mixed bell peppers
  • Chopped mint leaves-1 spoon
  • Roasted cumin powder- 1 spoon
  • Red chilli powder- pinch
  • Yogurt- 2cups
  • Black salt- ½ spoon
  • onions- 1/2 cup
  • chopped green chillies- 2 spoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves chopped- ¼ cup
  • Oil- 4 spoons


Step 1: Peel off the skin of mixed bell peppers and cut into small pieces.

Step 2: Heat oil in a pan, fry mixed bell peppers and keep aside till temperature reduces.

Step 3: Take yogurt in a bowl, stir it well into fine mix.

Step 4: Add mixed bell pepper pieces to yogurt.

Step 5: Add black salt, salt, red chilli powder and stir it well.

Step 6: Add cumin powder, onions, green chillies, mint leaves and coriander leaves.

Step 7: Mix it well and keep in refrigerator for 1hr.

Step 8: Serve chilled raita in a bowl.
