How to prepare bread pakora at home

Bread pakora is a crispy snack item with delicious taste. Pakora snack item is prepared in many ways with different vegetables but this pakora is made with bread which is crispier. It is easy to prepare this recipe at home. Let us see how to make bread pakora..


  • White bread slices- 6
  • Besan flour- 2 cups
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as needed
  • Hing powder- pinch
  • Cumin seeds- 1 spoon
  • Chopped green chillies- 3 spoons
  • Water
  • Coriander leaves- 1 cup
  • Red chilli powder- pinch


Step 1: Cut the edges of every bread slice

Step 2: Cut the bread into equal shapes.

Step 3: Take a bowl, add besan flour, rice flour, hing powder and water.

Step 4: Stir it well and make into thick dough.

Step 5: Add salt as required, cumin seeds and mix it well.

Step 6: Add pinch red chilli powder, green chillies and coriander leaves and keep aside for 5min.

Step 7: Heat oil in a long bottomed vessel, dip bread slices and drop in the oil.

Step 8: Fry the bread slices till they turn into brown colour.

Step9: Off the flame and serve in a plate.
