Lemon juice, egg white, and olive oil
Olive oil will moisturize your nails, egg white and lemon juice will nourish your nails. Take equal quantity of lemon juice, olive oil and an egg white in a bowl. Mix them well and soak your nails in this mixture for at least 10 minutes. Repeat it twice a week when you are going to bed.
Apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is one another effective remedy that can help in treating your nails. Apply apple cider vinegar on your nails using a cotton ball. It helps in removing white spots on nails and to get rid of yellow nails.
This makes your nails healthy and strong. Take a bowl of warm water and add 1 tablespoon of sea salt in it. Soak your fingertips in it for about 15 minutes. Then wipe your fingers and apply moisturizer or petroleum jelly. Repeat it for a week in every month.
Essential oils like lavender oil, jojoba oil helps to retain moisture of your hands. Apply any one of the oils on your hands and nails before you are going to sleep. Gently massage your cuticles and hands. It effectively works to get rid of nail discoloration.
Warm the olive oil and apply it on your nails and cuticles. Massage gently for 5 minutes before going to bed. Wear cotton gloves overnight and repeat it once daily.
Choose a good moisturizer which has vitamin K and vitamin E as its key ingredients. Apply it on your hand and nails. Then gently massage your cuticles. It helps to retain the moisture and to get rid of brittle nails.

Tomatoes are rich in biotin that aids nail growth as well as makes them thick and shiny. Tomatoes have vitamins A and vitamin C that are essential for healthy nails and as well as skin. Take ½ cup of tomato juice and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl. Soak your nails in that solution for 10 minutes. Repeat this daily until you get your desired results.
Orange juice has vitamin C content that produces collagen and keeps your nails healthy. Blend fresh orange juice and soak your nails in it for 10 minutes. Then after rinsing them off with warm water. Pat them dry and apply moisturizer. Follow this remedy once daily until you are satisfied.

Water is good for your health and for your nails too. Drink more water that can help hydrate dry, damaged nails, just like it does for hair and skin.
